BASEBALL SQUADS TO GET OUTDOOR WORK OUT MONDAY

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University and Freshman baseball teams will have their first outdoor practice on Monday providing the weather and ground conditions remain favorable. Both nines are being rapidly whipped into shape by Coaches Slattery and Davidson by daily practice in the cage.

The development of the University nine has been considerably retarded due to the lack of outside practice which started last year on March 15, although the first practice game was not held until March 30. Both Yale and Princeton have played practice games this year, the Yale team on its southern trip while the Princeton nine won its first game with Villa Nova last Thursday.

Captain George Owen Jr. '23, who has not been practicing as yet, is expected to report next week when the team starts its outdoor work-outs.
