INTENSIVE WORK STARTS ON PUDDING'S "TAKE A BRACE"

Mr. Louis Silvers, Mr. Samuel Lee, and Mr. L. O. Schwab '14 to Be in Charge

Mr. Louis Silvers, Mr. Samuel Lee, and Mr. L. O. Schwab '14 began intensive work yesterday towards the production of the Hasty Pudding Show. "Take a Brace", which they are to direct. Mr. Silvers has been Al Jolson's musical director for several years. He has also done work for George M. Cohan and D. W. Griffith. Among the well-known song-hits that he has written are "April Showers" and "Just Snap Your Fingers at Care". Mr. Lee is a well-known producer on Broadway. His latest work has been with the "Gingham Girl", a success in New York during the past winter. Mr. Schwab, now owner and producer of the "Gingham Girl", is also assisting. Mr. Silvers is in general charge, Mr. Lee director of dances and ensembles, and Mr. Schwab, art director and assistant in staging the book.
