This afternoon at 1.05 o'clock a meeting will be held at the H. A. A. for all men who wish to enter the competition for second assistant manager of the University track team and assistant cross-country manager. Sophomores only are eligible to enter the competition which will last for eight weeks, closing on May 26.
Two positions are to be filled as a result of the candidates' work. To the man making the best showing is given the position of second assistant track manager, and to the contestant with the second highest rating goes the assistant managership of the cross-country team. At the meeting today, C. V. Chandier '23, the track manager, will explain the work of the competition, which consists largely of arrangements for the University team's practice and for the frequent formal and informal meets during the season.
