Because of the wet grounds at Soldiers Field, spring football practice, which was scheduled to begin today been postponed until Wednesday afternoon at 3.30 o'clock when the field will probably be in condition to permit playing.

Of the 120 men who reported at the meeting Friday night, about 55 signified their intention of coming out for actual practice this spring. Among those who will be on hand are G. D. Braden '25, C. A. C. Eastman '24, M. G. Greenough '25, H. S. Grew Jr. '24, F. K. Kernan Jr. '24 and J. J. Lee '24. Many of the regular football men are engaged in other sports and so are not able to take part in the opening practice.

Head Coach R. T. Fisher '12, who will be in charge of the squad, will be assisted by J. L. Knox '98, D. E. Parmenter '13, and by several of this year's letter men, including Vinton Chapin '23, P. F. Coburn '23, C. A. C. Eastman '24, and J. M. Hartley '23.
