YALE FIVE HAS EDGE IN CONTEST TONIGHT

The exceptionally strong Yale quintet will meet the University basketball team for the second time this season tonight at 8.15 o'clock in Hemenway gymnasium. The Crimson team was defeated in the first game of the series at New Haven by the score of 36-28, and the Blue is generally conceded to have the edge on the game this evening also.

The University five enters the game with a record of 14 victories and four defeats behind it, and has scored 657 points against its opponents' 500. Yale, on the other hand, has just won the Intercollegiate League championship, and the Blue squad is in the pink of condition for the contest.

The Crimson has played but one game since the encounter with Brown two weeks ago, defeating St. Francis College of Brooklyn, N. Y., 35 to 23, last Friday.

The University line-up has not yet been definitely settled. Lowenthal, Gordon, and McLeish will probably all be used in the game as forwards, but on account of Lowenthal's injury in the Brown game he will be able to play but a short while. The strongest defense possible would be with Black and Rudoisky in as guards, but Coach Wachter may decide to start Samborski in place of Rudoisky because of his scoring ability. Miller will start at center.

The Blue forwards, Suisman and Pite, are said to be the best forwards in the intercollegiate league, and their speed will give them an advantage on the Hemenway court. Suisman has been shooting the fouls regularly, and scored 18 out of 21 free throws in one game alone. Haas has been starring in the defensive line and in the Pennsylvania game, which Yale won by the score of 29-17, shot four goals from the field and equalled Suisman's record. Pite has been one of the leading scorers of the team and is very fast on his feet.
