MAINE QUINTET APT TO DOWN CRIMSON

Veteran Guard Forced Out of Game by Attack of Grippe--Will be Replaced by Samborski

The University quintet will take the floor against the University of Maine five tonight at 8 o'clock in the Hemenway Gymnasium with the odds slightly in favor of the visitors. Last week the Maine team defeated Worcester Tech 46 to 22 while the Crimson was fortunate to gain a 28-20 victory over the same opponents earlier in the season. On Saturday night the Maine quintet won a hard fought victory from Boston College by a score of 28 to 24.

The University will be greatly weakened by the loss of Black, who is out of the game with grippe. He has played in every game this season and has been a strong factor in limiting the number of points scored against the University. His place will be filled by Samborski.

Yesterday Coach Wachter's team held a light practice and drilled especially on breaking up the five man defense that the quintet has had to face several times this season.
