Although in the lead from the start, the Freshman basketball team was forced all the way by the Dartmouth 1926 men at the Freshman Athletic Building last night until its final victory of 36 to 33. The last minutes of the second half were especially tense, when with the Crimson holding what appeared to be a safe lead, the Green rallied and came within three points of tying the score.
Dartmouth's shooting throughout the first half was wild, whereas the Crimson men confined themselves to shooting from short distances and led at half time 20 to 15. Coach Chase's men went ahead in the second period but their lead finally dwindled to a narrow margin, due largely to excellent foul shooting on the part of Tully.
