Defeat Carpenter and Harrington 6-3 8 6--Finals Scheduled for Monday

Upjohn and Roots defeated Carpenter and Harrington, 6-3, 8-6, in the semi-finals on the Union doubles tournament yesterday afternoon. As a result of this victory these two will encounter Stralem and Dixon in the finals next Monday on the Divinity Courts.

The semi-finals of the singles are scheduled for this afternoon: Whitbeck will meet Perkins at 2.30 o'clock; and Upjohn will meet Harrington at 2 o'clock. Both these matches will be played on the Divinity Courts. The finals are scheduled for next Tuesday.
