According to an order which Mayor Curley will present to the City Council next week, $34,000 from the income of the Parkman Fund will be devoted to improvements on Franklin Park. Of this amount all except $3,000 will, according to the mayor's proposal, be expended in bettering the golfing facilities at the Park. The specific items for which the money is needed include repairs to the Locker Building, seats, loam and sod for the fairways, and general repairs on buildings.
