YALE AND PRINCETON SHIFT LINEUPS FOR TODAY'S GAME

Tigers Concentrate on Bolstering Line--Injuries Force Numerous Changes in Backfield of Eli Eleven

Both Yale and Princeton have given their line-ups a shakeup in preparation for their games today which will be much more sirenuous than the opening games of last week. Princeton in particular has been trying players at any and all positions in order to improve a line-up which appeared unfavorable in last week's game with John Hopkins.

During the practices of the past week, Coach Roper especially concentrated on the line. Each forward was forced to break through two backfield men with Coach Roper supervising each man individually.

Van Gerbig's appearance in the back-field is a sure sign that the followers of old Nassau will have a strong kicker, one of the best in the east. Newspaper critic's particularly critized the kicking of the Orange and Black in the last week's game with Johns Hopkins. Kicks were short and gotten off so late that they were frequently blocked. But Van Ger-big's leg will eliminate this difficulty in todays game.

The probable line-up follows: Caldwell, center; Howard and Bedell, guards; Rutan and Hill, tackles; Stout and Smith, ends; Gorman or Dinsmore, quarterback; Van Gerbig, Beattie, and either Crum or Captain Snively, backs.

News from Yale indicates that her star backfield men, Lyle Richeson, Newell Niedlinger, Neal, and Charles O' Hearn, are slightly injured and probably will not play today, although Coach Tad Jones will not keep the men out of the game if the southerners have unusual strength. In their places will be Murphy at quarterback, Stevens and Pond at the half positions, and Mallory at fullback. The Yale line follows: ends, Hulman and Luman; tackles, Miller and Milstead; guards, Eckart and Diller; center, Lovejoy.

Yale optimists expect Yale to win by five touchdowns, but the Georgians may show some of that strength which has characterized them in years past.
