On the second day of winter track practice, 20 more men reported for the squad, swelling the total to 150 candidates. However, such is the demand for competition among the relay teams, that more men are urged to report. Only light practice was held yesterday under Coach Farrell's direction, since strenuous practice will be commenced only on the arrival of head coach Martin.

Shot putters, hammer throwers, high jumpers, pole vaulters, and discus throwers worked yesterday afternoon in the cage. In spite of the snow, the javelin throwers are continuing practice outdoors under the direction of Coach Mikkola.
