NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A small fire took place yesterday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in Standish Hall, D21, the room of J. D. W. Morrill '26 and H. E. Slayton Jr. '26. The fire was reported to the janitor who notified the fire department. He kept the fire down with water and the fire company, with their chemical machine, extinguished it at once. The 'cause of the fire is still unknown, but it is believed to have started from the electric light wires. One whole side of the room was burned, and the rest of the room was burned in places and soaked with water. No clothing was burned as the fire did not touch the bedrooms.
