VETERAN CONN. AGGIE FIVE HOPES TO REPEAT LAST YEAR'S VICTORY

Returning from the trip to Amherst and Williams much encouraged as a result of the showings made by the Crimson quintel against both rivals, Coach Wachter's men will face one of the strongest teams in the 1923 schedule when it meets the veteran Connecticut Agricultural College five tonight at 8 o'clock in the Hemenway Gymnasium. The Aggies, winners last season by a 33-30 score, were one of the few teams to defeat the University five.

The Crimson, despite the loss of McLeish, will continue to use the fourman attack with. Gordon, Lowenthal, Miller and Samborskl carrying it into effect.

Makofskl and Alexander are the chief threats of the Connecticut five, and have developed a fast, short passing offensive, that will tax the best brand of basketball that the Crimson can show.

The team was given a light work-out yesterday, during which Coach Wachter emphasized accurate shooting, Captain Gordon, who will shoot the fouls for his team, spent a part of the time on the foul-line and showed considerable improvement. Coach Wachter has been greatly pleased by the showing his team has made so far this season with six victories and no defeats and a total of 276 points to opponents' 167.
