The Physical Training Department of the University is again offering this year an opportunity for students in the University, who are not engaged in organized athletics, to take regular exercise. The Hemenway Gymnasium is open daily and its facilities are available to any student free of charge. Equipment for all kinds of indoor exercise is available as well as several outside handball courts. The regular five o'clock gymnasium class will meet for the first time on Monday under the supervision of Mr. N. W. Fradd, who has been transferred from the Freshman Athletic Building. He will have regular consultation hours daily from 2-5 to advise any men in regard to special exercise.
The Big Tree Swimming Pool is open in the afternoons from 1.30 to 6 o'clock, while the squash courts on Linden street are open all day, and until 6.30 o'clock in the evening. Work on six new squash courts in the building is now under way and will be completed by the end of October. Lockers can be obtained for $3.00 in the Hemenway Gymnasium, the Big Tree Swimming Pool, and the Squash Courts.
