NEW PLAN FOR SALE OF H. A. A. FOOTBALL TICKETS

Season Passes Admitting to Harvard Side of Stadium to be Distributed to Present and Former Members of University Only

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

University football season tickets will be sold only to or through members or ex-members of the University this fall according to an announcement recently made by the Athletic Association.

The price of the season tickets will be $6 and will admit to the westerly section of the Harvard stands at the Middlebury, Holy Cross, Bowdorn, Centre, Florida, and Brown Games.

The reason for the change in the sale of tickets is explained in the statement given out by the Athletic Association:

"The objectionable language and conduct at the games, of many non-Harvard season ticket holders, has made it necessary to restrict the sale of season tickets for the future to members and ex-members of the University. All Harvard men may buy for their relatives or friends for whose respectable conduct at the games they are willing to vouch, a reasonable number of season tickets, but none will be sold except through Harvard men.

The usual sections on the westerly side of the stadium will be reserved for season ticket holders, and it is to be expected that the elimination of the direct sale of season tickets to the public will avoid the overcrowding of that side of the field as in the past two years. As heretofore, a limited number of special tickets for each of the games, admitting to season ticket sections, will be available at the reserved seat price, for those season ticket holders who wish to take friends with them.

Decent conduct at the games on the part of every season ticket user will be required by the Association. Violation of this requirement will subject the ticket to forfeiture and the Harvard man through whom it was issued to the cancellation or restriction of his ticket privileges in the future.

All Harvard men are urged not to obtain tickets for persons whom they would not be willing to have as their guests".

This ban on the sale of seats to the general public applies to season tickets only and will effect only the west side of the Stadium.
