Garrity Stars for Visitors With Tripe in Sixth Scoring Two Men

NEW HAVEN COXX., June 7, 1922. The Holy cross baseball team defeated the Yale nine here today by the score of 5-2. The Purple started the Isllying by making a run in the thrid but Yale quickly tied the score in the next inning.

Garrity starred for Holy Cross With two out in the sixth he broke the tie when he pounded out a triple with two men on bases. The visitors scored again in the serventh and eight. Yale's second fally came in the Rlue's last trip to the plate. Carron pitched the entire game for the Purple while Yale was foreed to use both Rickey and Chittenden.
