Mr. John Warren '96, head University Marshal for Commencement Day, has made the following announcement concerning Yard privileges and the issuance of tickets for that day:
The College Yard will be closed to the public on Commencement Day, June 22, and only members of the Governing Boards of the University, officers of instruction and administration, students, and alumni will be admitted. Women and children will not be admitted. No one will be admitted without a ticket. Tickets are to be shown at the gates, and are to be retained by the holders for identification.
Tickets to the Yard will be issued as follows:
Officers of instruction and administration and students in the University, on application to the Deans of their respective faculties.
Alumni of the University, in Boston on registration for the meeting of the Associated Harvard Clubs, either at the Harvard Club on Commonwealth Avenue or at 77 Franklin street, Room 906
On Commencement Day those who have not received tickets may obtain them as follows:
Officers of instruction and administration and alumni at the office of the Alumni Association, Wadsworth House.
Students of the University on application to the Union.
Each individual is entitled to one Yard ticket only for his personal use. This ticket must bear the autograph and class in ink of the person to whom it is issued and is not transferable.
