UNIVERSITY LACROSSE TEAM TO CLASH WITH YALE THIS AFTERNOON

CRIMSON EXPECTED TO SHOW IMPROVED DEFENCE

The University lacrosse team will meet Yale this afternoon at 4' o'clock on Soldiers Field in the last game of the season. Originally scheduled for tomorrow, the game was moved forward a day in order not to interfere with the many events arranged for tomorrow afternoon.

The two teams will be exceptionally evenly matched. Both have been defeated by the Oxford-Cambridge twelve, while Cornell on May 8 blanked the Crimson 6 to 0 and repeated the performance with the identical score against the Elis last week.

Coach Catton has stressed the work of the defense during the past week and as a result the University should show much improvement in that department in today's contest.

Only two veterans of last year's Yale team, which showed unexpected strength and defeated the Crimson 3 to 0 will be in the Blue line-up today.
