In an informal match with the Business School played yesterday at Brae Burn the University golf team scored a 7-0 victory. There was none of the sensational work exhibited Monday against Princeton, but the Crimson contestants showed steadier and superior golf throughout the afternoon.
The summary:
Foursomes.--Baker and Jones (H) defeated Sedgwick and Bonman, 6 and 5; Fleming and De Gersdorff (H) defeated Waite and Simpson, 7 and 6.
Twosomes.--Baker (H) defeated Sedgwick, 5 and 3; Jones (H) defeated Bonman, 6 and 5; Fleming (H) defeated Wade, 7 and 6; de Geredorff (H) defeated Simpson, 2 up; Taussig defeated King, 6 and 5.
The University team will play M. I. T. this afternoon at 2 o'clock in a formal match at Brae Burn, the team being composed of Baker, Jones, Fleming, Eaton, Williams, and Clough.
