NEW HAVEN, CONN., April 26.--In a game which showed great improvement over the recent series with the New Haven Club, the Yale nine defeated Williams 9-0 this afternoon. Chittenden, who started on the mound for Yale, pitched hitless ball for six innings; Hickey who replaced him, was hit only three times, while Yale garnered 12 hits from the offerings of Cobb and Gregory. Aldrich, Chittenden, Crane, Eddy, and Mallory led the Blue attack with two hits apiece.
