In a six-inning practice game yesterday afternoon the University second team clouted out seven hits for a 6-2 victory over the Rindge Technical School nine.
Playing together for the first time, the scrubs allowed five hits, only two of which materialized into runs. With two doubles and a single they brought in three earned runs.
Making an error in every inning, the visitors failed to offer much of a threat. With the exception of the fourth inning, when two Rindge men scored on errors, they failed to reach third base.
