INEXPERIENCED MEN TO BE UNDER NO HANDICAP IN WINTER CARNIVAL

COMPETITORS MUST REGISTER IN BLUE-BOOKS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

All undergraduates of the University wishing to compete in the winter track Carnival tomorrow must sign their names in the blue-books at Leavitt and Peirce's, the H. A. A., the Union, the Freshman dormitories, of the locker building before 5 o'clock this afternoon. The gold, silver, and bronze medals that will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners are on exhibition in Leavitt and Peirce's window.

Every effort has been made to permit inexperienced men to compete on an equal footing with the most consistent regulars on the squad. Not only will all events be run on a handicap basis, but there will be two novice races, the 40-yard dash and the 440-yard run, that will be open only to men who have never won a prize in any regular meet.

The captains of the interclass relay teams have been appointed as follows: 1922, Richard Chute; 1923, J. W. Burke; 1924, Malcolm Morse; and 1925, T. R. Hull.

The list of events includes the 40-yard dash, the 45-yard low hurdles, the 300-yard run, the 600-yard run, the three-quarters mile run, the mile run, the high-jump, the pole-vault, the 35-pound weight throw, the discus throw, the javelin throw, the novice 40-yard dash, the novice 440-yard run, the interclass relay, the newspaper relay, and the managers' relay.
