Chairman Ex-Office J. H. Child '25 announced last night the result of the drive conducted by the Freshman Finance Committee for $4000 for the class fund. At a meeting of the committee a total of $3000.45 was turned in by the canvassers.
As a result of the drive, Julius Wadsworth, of Middletown, Conn., was appointed chairman of the Finance Committee, and Joseph Kennedy Collins of Dorchester, James harry Smith of Tiptonville, Tenn., Parker Francis Pond of Neponset, and Lee Gordon Kendall of West Bridgewater were appointed subchairmen, in the order named.
Under, the direction of Chairman Wadsworth, a clean-up drive will be instituted at a meeting of the Finance Committee in the Standish Hall Common Room on Tuesday evening at 7 o'clock. This drive will begin the following day, and will last one week. The attention is to collect the rest of the $4000 quota.
