Mr. Glenn Plumb, the railroad expert, will speak to the Student Liberal Club today at luncheon at 1 o'clock on the present railroad situation in the United States, Having been an authority on railroad conditions, particularly in regard to the relations of capital and labor for many years, he is eminently qualified to speak on this subject. The luncheon will be open to members and associate members of the Liberal Club.
On Monday, the speaker at luncheon will be Captain Paxton Hibben, of the Near East Relief Commission. Until recently, he was under Mr. Herbert Hoover as secretary of the Russian Commission of the near East Relief, and he has just returned from studying the conditions in that country. He brings the latest word about the Russian famine. His subject will be "Russian Famine Conditions as I Saw Them."
