In his speech last Monday night, before a group of students at Amherst College Dean W. B. Donham '98, of the Business School spoke on the work of the School. He discussed its aims and methods at length, with particular reference to the assistance which it is in a position to give to its first-year men in helping them select a suitable vocation.
He contrasted the Business School method of choosing intelligently the general field of a man's business activity, to the common process of finding someone who has a job to offer, with no regard for the fitness of the man to the job.
