DRAMATIC CLUB STARTS SPRING WORK TONIGHT

Open Meeting at Union at 7 o'Clock This Evening--Competitions to Begin Tomorrow--Lee Simonson '09 to Speak to Club at 4 Today

Full plans for the spring season of the Dramatic Club will be announced at an open meeting in the Trophy Room of the Union at 7 o'clock this evening. Professor G. P. Baker '87, Coach J. W. D. Seymour '17, and Dean E. A. Whitney '17, who was active as an undergraduate, will speak on the Club and the work which it expects to do. Tomorrow competitions for the various activities will start.

Tomorrow evening there will be a reading of the play at 7 o'clock, for all members of the University who are interested. The place will be announced tonight.

On Wednesday and Friday evenings of this week there will be tryouts for the various positions on the cast. There are many opportunities in the fields of dramatic work, stage managing, business, scenery, costuming, properties and electric lighting.

This afternoon at 4 o'clock Lee Simonson '09, scenic artist of the Theatre Guild of New York, will speak, to the members of the Dramatic Club, in Room 5 of the Union.
