Twelve preliminary bouts will be held in the Hemenway Gymnasium at 4 o'clock this afternoon in preparation for the annual University boxing tournament scheduled for Friday evening. Mr. W. F. Donovan and Mr. D. V. Kelly of the Department of Physical Education will act as judges at today's matches. The following officials have been selected for the final bouts: referee, Coach Conley; judges, Mr. F. H. Lincoln and Mr. J. H. Glacken; announcer, Mr. J. O. Stubbs; timer, Mr. Fred Wood.
Reserved seats at $1.00 or standing room tickets at 50 cents for the bouts on Friday evening may be obtained at either the H. A. A. or at Leavitt and Peirce's. Today's matches are open free of charge to members of the University.
All men must pass a physical examination by Dr. D. C. Parmenter '13 before competing either today or Friday. He will be in his office in Wadsworth House from 2 until 3 o'clock today. The men entering the finals must be weighed in by Mr. C. W. Hutchinson at Hemenway Gymnasium tomorrow between 3.30 and 5 o'clock.
