STUDENT COUNCIL ACTS TO PREVENT CONFLICTS IN TIMES OF MEETINGS

At a recent meeting of the Student Council it was voted that any undergraduates with grievances or suggestions concerning their part in the activities of the University should report them to Vinton Chapin '23, Vice-President of the Council, at his room in Grays 22, where he will discuss such questions with undergraduates.

It was also voted that the following letter be sent to the secretaries and managers of all organizations at the University: November 6, 1922.

Dear Sir:--

For the past few years, the Student Council has considered means of arranging the meetings of various University organizations in a way to prevent the many conflicts that are now often evident. At its last meeting the Council voted to establish a date book in the office of the Harvard CRIMSON. It was also voted that each of the principal organizations be requested to use this book in picking times for their meetings. It is, of course, impossible to do more than make this request, but it is believed by the Council that these bodies will be anxious to cooperate to improve the existing situation. Will you not, then, enter in this book well ahead of time the dates your organization plans to have meetings, selecting those dates after consideration of events already listed, with the view of preventing conflicts if possible?   Very truly yours,   (Signed) SHERIDAN LOGAN, Sec'y.
