ANYBODY SEEN THAT DOG?

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

"The gentleman I am about to introduce," says the toastmaster, "needs no introduction from me." Nothing could sum up better the preliminaries of today's little debate with our neighbor in New Haven and his dog. There are those who turn up their noses and sniff at the idea of keeping a bull-dog, but years of experience with our old acquaintance and many close encounters, when we have come over the fence minus the fringes of our coat-tails, have taught us only respect for him, especially when we go over to play in his back yard.

Today is no exception. John Harvard climbs down into the Bowl looking for trouble with a wary watch out for anything the dog may have to offer.

It is all a matter of a sure eye and a sound heart and it will be a lucky bulldog who does not find that the only way to cross John's goal-line is on the toe of John's boot.
