SQUASH TEAM HAS HEAVY SCHEDULE

The University squash racquets team will play its first match of the year with the Boston Athletic Association at Boston on Saturday, December 2; the B. A. A men are sure to present one of the strongest teams that the University will face this year.

The second match will be at concord, New Hampshire, on December 5 with St. Paul's School, where the opposition will be of a less experienced sort, with only one veteran on the team, Captain S. F. Symington, who is, however, a dangerous opponent, with a victory over Malcolm Bradlee '22, Captain of the University five, to his credit. On December 9, although this and all subsequent dates on the schedule have not as yet been approved by the athletic Committee of the Student council, team A will meet the Newton Center Club.

The climax of the season will be reached after the Christmas recess in two matches, both of which will be played at the university Squash Courts. On January 6 the university will meet the Lincoln's Inn team, composed of men in the Law School. These players have been holding a tournament of their own in addition to playing in the University tournament. The final match of the season will be held with the Union Boat Club on January 13, and will be by far the hardest of the whole season, since it was this team, practically unchanged, that defeated the University for the state championship last winter. Amongst the numerous high-ranking players on this team is C. C. Peabody, last year's captain, national and state champion in 1920 and state champion again last year.

With the exception of the St. Paul's contest all the above matches are in the Massachusetts Squash Racquets Association. After these are completed, however, plans are under way for two matches during February in New York City, one with the Tennis and Racquet Club, and the other with the University Club.

Announce Team B Schedule

Team B, composed of the second five ranking men selected from the results of the weekly test matches, will meet the second teams of many of the same clubs that encounter University a. The complete team B schedule, which has not yet been approved by the Athletic Committee of the Student Council, is as follows:

December 2.--Harvard Club, Cambridge.

December 9.--Union Boat Club, Boston.

December 16.--Newton Center Club, Cambridge.

January 6.--Neighborhood Club, Quincy.

January 13.--Lincoln's Inn club, Cambridge.

January 20.--Milton Club, Cambridge.

January 27.--B. A. A., Boston.

Courts 7 and 14 at the Randolph Building, which are being reduced to regulation size, will probably be completed in time to allow the University players to practice in them before their first match. Work has progressed so fast on the six few courts that the Department of Physical Education has announced that two will be ready for use on Friday, and the remainder early next week.
