SECONDS AND 1926 BOTH SCORE ONCE IN SCRIMMAGE

Coach Snow Uses Almost Whole Freshman Squad--Charlton MacVeagh '24 Runs Length of Field for Final Tally--Yearlings Show Stronger Offense

The Freshman squad held an informal scrimmage with the University seconds yesterday in which each side scored one touchdown; neither side attempted to kick the goal. Practically the whole squad participated in the game.

The Freshmen scored first, near the beginning of the game, on straight line work with two short passes. The other score came just before the squad was ordered in to the Locker Building, when Charlton MacVeagh '24 of the second team intercepted a forward pass and ran 60 yards for a touchdown.

On the whole, the Freshmen had the edge on the Seconds, gaining on the black-jerseyed men with regularity. When, on the other hand, the Seconds were given the ball, they found considerale difficulty in penetrating the Freshman line.
