Curator of Arms and Armor at Metropolitan Museum to Give Two Talks Under Auspices of Fogg Museum--Was Government Adviser During War

On next Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, Dr. Bashford Dean will give two lectures on "Armor" under the auspices of the Fogg Art Museum. Dr. Dean has been Curator of Arms and Armor at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. New York, since 1930, and has written many articles on the subject. The best known of these in "Notes on Arms and Armor" published by the Metropolitan Museum. During the war Dr. Dean was adviser on armor to the United States War Department.

The first lecture on "The Art of the Armorer" will be given on Tuseday afternoon, October 31, at 4.30 o'clock in the Lecture Room of the Fogg Art Museum.

The second lecture, "The Making and Wearing of Armor", will be given on Wednesday afternoon, November 1, at 4.30 at the Harvard Union, under the auspices of the Fogg Museum. This lecture will be illustrated with moving pictures.
