SOCCER SEASON TO OPEN WITH MEETING TONIGHT

Practice Begins Tomorrow--New Coach to be Announced--Formidable List of Opponents Includes Yale, Princeton, Haverford, and U. of P.

A meeting of candidates for the University and Freshman teams at the Varsity Club at 7.30 tonight will officially open the soccer season of 1922. Actual practice will start on Soldiers Field tomorrow afternoon at 3.30 o'clock before which time the name of the new coach will probably be announced.

The schedule, which has been arranged includes games with the University of Pennsylvania, Haverford, Yale, and Princeton. To meet this formidable list of opponents eight leter men are back, including Captain R. W. Heizer '23, H. L. Hartly '23, W. N. Tuttle '24, John Pallo '23, J. M. Begg '24, R. M. C. Greenidge 3E.S., A. J. Byington '24, and Corliss Lamont '24. In addition to these men other promising candidates are L. C. Keyes '24, Harry Eldridge '24. Oliver Cope '23, and several members of last year's Freshman team.
