Provided Athletic Committee Ratifies Petition to Make Boxing Minor Sport, Date May be Changed

The day for the final boxing matches in the University Championship tournament has been set for Friday, March 17. This late date has been chosen in order to give men who are engaged in other spring sports a chance to participate.

Provided the Athletic Committee ratifies the recent petition to make boxing a minor sport, which has been approved by the Student Council, this date may be changed. If this shift is made, the championship matches will be used to select the team which will probably meet Yale.
