The Freshman hockey team will face the Andover sextet today on the Charlesbank rinks at 3 o'clock provided ice is available. The yearlings have been greatly handicapped since their game with Middlesex on Wednesday due to the lack of ice, and Coach Humphrey has had no chance to strengthen the weakness which appeared in the last contest. The shooting was a bit ragged and at times the teamwork broke down momentarily, but both of these faults can be eradicated with practice. Another change has been made in the opening line-up and this afternoon Coach Humphrey will use much the same forward line that started in the early season games. Beals is back at center and Burgess and Peirson fill the wing positions. Hammond and Captain Hodder will start in the defence berths, while Cantillon will defend the yearling goal.
From reports Andover has a strong defence in Sillison, Deignan, and Conttle, but their team work was in its early period of development when they faced the Dartmouth yearlings. Sanford and Cutler are fast forwards who are expected to be the scoring factors on the Andover team, though their strength will be dependent on the team work which the visitors have developed since their Dartmouth game.
