B. A. A. IN DEADLOCK WITH CRIMSON SEXTET

University Stick-Men Show Up Well in Sharp Scrimmage--"Two-Man Team-Work" Stressed--Eleven Players Will Leave Friday for Princeton Game

A long preliminary drill and a sharp scrimmage against the B. A. A. sextet were the features of the University hockey practice yesterday afternoon at the Arena. Coach Claflin was still absent, Coach Winsor taking charge of the Crimson players again.

For half an hour before the scrimmage Coach Winsor sent down the University men in pairs on the defense again and again, lining up the full forward lines for only a few minutes at the end of the drill. It is because in a regular contest all three forwards so seldom go down the ice together that Coach Winsor is spending more time on "Two-man" team-work. It was lack of this in the Dalhousie contest that was the Crimson sextet's chief fault.

Walker, Martin and Baker, the regular forward line, started against the B. A. A. men and played them to a deadlock.

The Crimson squad will leave for the Princeton game at Philadelphia Saturday afternoon. The following eleven men will make the trip: Angier, Baker, Crosby, Flint, Gratwick, Higgins, Hill, Larocque, Martin, Owen, and Walker.
