Salter Is Phi Beta Kappa Secretary

At a meeting of the Junior Eight of Phi Beta Kappa held yesterday afternoon, William Thomas Salter '22 of Milton was elected Secretary. The Secretary is the only executive officer of the undergraduate chapter, and as such, makes all arrangements for Phi Beta Kappa Day, which is on Monday, June 20th, this year. In addition, the Secretary ordinarily represents Phi Beta Kappa on the Student Council, and is Second Marshal of the Society. He also takes charge of all dinners, and other functions of the Society.
