Notices relating to the tickets, procession and admission to the Yard on Commencement Day, June 23, have been posted.
Commencement tickets of admission to Sanders Theatre will not be required by candidates for degrees; but a limited number of tickets is available for candidates for the use of their friends, and will be distributed to the Deans of the various Schools on Wednesday, June 15, No candidate will receive more than one ticket.
Alumni of less than twenty-five years standing will not be allowed in the Commencement procession, since, there are no longer places for them in the Theatre. Officers of the Government, members of the Faculties, and guests of the Corporation are requested to assemble in front of Massachusetts Hall at 9.45 A. M., and alumni of not less than twenty-five years' standing who intend to join the procession should assemble in the same place. The candidates for degrees, in gowns or dark clothes, will assemble under the direction of their respective marshals at 9.45 o'clock, according to the following plan: All speakers and A.A., near the east end of Holworthy Hall; candidates for S.B. near the west end of Holoworthy; candidates for A.M., Ph.D., S.B. in the various branches of Engineering and Mining; S.M. in the various branches of Engineering; M. E., Met.E., S.D., Ed.M., Ed.D., M.Arch, M.L.A., M.F., S.M, Zool., S.M.Bot., S.D.App.Biol., and M.B.A., in front of Stoughton; candidates for D.M.D., M.D., D.P.H., LL.B., S.J.D., S.T.M. and Th.D. in front of Hollis.
The Yard will be closed to the public on Commencement Day, and only holder of degrees and other former members of the University, officers of the University, guests of the Corporation and of the chief marshal of the alumni, candidates for degrees and other students will be admitted. Ladies and children will not be admitted, and no cameras will be allowed in the Yard. The Johnston, Meyer, McKean, Dudley and Class of 1857 gates will be used.
