Because of the wet track yesterday the track events of the Winter Carnival which were scheduled for yesterday were postponed until today. Because of the change of date the Harvard-Yale Graduates' relay race has been cancelled. All the other events will be run off, however, in the following order: 40-yard dash trials, 40-yard hurdles, 300-yard dash, 1000-yard run, 40-yard dash finals, Crimson-Advocate-Lampoon relay race, mile run, 600-yard run, Interclass relay race.
The field events were run off yesterday. The results, with the handicaps, are as follows:
Pole-Vault.--Tie for first between Frederick Flather '23 (3. feet) and J. M. Plumer '21 (3 feet), at 11 feet 6 inches; third, K. Campbell (3 feet), 11 feet.
High-Jump.--won by J. F. Brown '22 (8 inches), 5 feet 8 inches; second, A. K. Murray '23 (3 inches), 5 feet 6 inches; third, C. R. Hauers '23 (6 inches), 5 feet 6 inches.
Shot-Put.--Won by P. A. Byron '24 (9 feet), 41 feet 5 inches; second, H. W. Clark '23 (6 feet), 38 feet 9 inches; third, H. R. Bright '24 (10 feet), 38 feet 8 inches.
16-Pound Hammer-Throw.--Won by G. G. Monk '21 (10 feet), 129 feet 4 inches; second, H. R. Bright '24 (50 feet), 125 feet 2 inches; third, J. F. Brown '22 (scratch), 124 feet 8 inches.
