Wheatland Chosen Rifle Captain

At a meeting of the rifle team letter men at the H. A. A. yesterday afternoon. Stephen Wheatland '21 of Topsfield Mass. was elected captain for the remainder of the 1921 season. The former captain. C. J. Young '21, will leave College shortly on a leave of absence. The team has shot eleven matches this season, scoring a total of 5022 points. There are to be three more matches this year. April 4, the National Rifle Association Tournament: April 6, Princeton: April 15, Yale.

At the same time, Wheatland was also elected President of the University Rifle Club, and W. B. Darling '22 of Roxbun Vice-President, both men to serve for the remainder of the 1921 season.
