B. A. A. Worsts Shoe Trades 5-3

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In a closely contested game at the Boston Arena last night, the B. A. A. hockey team won from the Shoe Trades septet by the score of 5-3. The game was some-what rough, and penalties were frequent in the early part of the game. The regular periods ended in a 2-2 tie, necessitating an overtime period. Stubbs and Bright made these two tallies for the B. A. A., while Conley netted both of the Shoe Trades' goals. In the first overtime period, no score was made by either side, but in a second, Murphy, Hutchinson, and Percy shot the puck home three successive times for the B. A. A., while Durand scored a last-minute tally for the Shoe Trades septet, making the final score 5-3.

This victory for the B. A. A. team practically clinches for it the Eastern District championship in the United States League Series.
