In the first of the matches in the tournament of the Massachusetts Squash Racquets Association University Team A turned in a victory over the B. A. A. team by a score of 4-1. The latter was supposed to be the much stronger team, as its players were older and more experienced than the University's.

University Team B succumbed to the Harvard Club, losing all five of its matches.

In the Team A matches Captain Malcolm Bradlee '22 was the outstanding player. He defeated, after playing the full five games, R. A. Powers, one of the strongest players in last year's tournament. Every set in Team A's Match went to five games except that in which Myles Baker '22 defeated Harold Plimpton in three straight games.

Next Saturday Team A will meet the Newton Squash Racquets Club, and Team B, Union Boat Club.
