The nominations of Arthur Joseph Conion of Winchester for Marshal and of William Whitman 3rd for Poet were made yesterday by petition and were approved by the Senior Nominating Committee in accordance with constitutional regulations. The Nominating Committee also announced the nomination of Alexander Lang Steinert of Boston for the position of Chorister to fill the place made vacant by the resignation of Jiles Berry Fleming of Augusta, Ga.
Today is the last day upon which additional nominations by petition may be made. All such petitions, signed by at least 25 Seniors eligible to vote, must be handed in at the Crimson Building before 5 o'clock this afternoon. Lists of eligible voters have been posted at Phillips Brooks House, Sever Hall, Memorial Hall, the Union, and at the Crimson Building.
