The University chapter of Phi Beta Kappa will hold its annual winter banquet in the Union on Monday, December 5, at 6.30 o'clock. Professor F. W. Taussing '79, President of the chapter, will preside, and President Lowell will speak. Tickets for the dinner will be sold for $2.50 at the Union, or may be procured from the corresponding secretary, Professor W. G. Howard '07, at 39 Kirkland street, Cambridge. Members of other chapters who are now in the University can secure tickets by applying to the corresponding secretary.
All newly-elected members of the fraternity will be received at this meeting. The results of the election will be announced tomorrow.
Members of the chapter have been requested to consider the question of changing the date of the second annual June exercises, since graduates and invited guests coming from a distance find it difficult to include both Phi Beta Kappa Day and Commencement in their plans. All members should express by the mailing cards sent out their wishes in the matter. If a change is desired, and there is a substantial majority in favor of a specified day, the anniversary meeting of 1922 will be appointed for that date.
