1924 CLASS OFFICERS TO BE ELECTED OCT. 18

Amory and Lee Nominated for President with Jenkins and Bowers for Vice-President--Additional Nominee Petitions Must Bear 35 Names

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

As provided in the Sophomore class constitution, nominations for officers of 1924 for the current year have been made by a committee composed of last year's officers as follows:

President--Walter Amory of Walpole, N. H., and James Jackson Lee of Westwood.

Vice-President--Richard Stewart Bowers of Brookline, and Percy Jenkins of Quincy.

Secretary-Treasurer--Robert Paul Bullard of Melrose Highlands, and Francis Tileston Baldwin of Boston.

Student Council--Harrison Gardner of Boston, and Raoul Panteleoni of St. Louis, Mo.

The elections will be held on Tuesday, October 18. According to the amendment to the class constitution, adopted on May 29, 1920, at least sixty percent of the class must vote in order to make the election valid. The list of poll watchers and ballot counters will be announced within a few days.

Additional officers may be nominated by petitions, signed by at least 35 members of the class. Such petitions must be delivered to the present secretary-treasurer, Corliss Lamont, at Randolph 50, before noon on Saturday, October 15. If there are not enough petitions filed to make the required three nominees for each office, the nominating committee will make the necessary additional nominations in accordance with the class constitution.
