To those who go to the theatre solely to be amused, to have their laughter evoked by able comedians, to feast their eyes on girls, costumes and scenery, all of a high order, to hear light and witty songs well rendered, we heartily recommend the bill at the Majestic Theatre this week. The acts were varied, and of high quality; the music was catchy, well sung, and pleasant to hear; and what is most important, and most unusual in vaudeville, the girls were all good looking.
Joe Jackson, in his well-known character of a half-witted tramp, kept the audience convulsed without speaking a word, by attempting to steal a bicycle.
