UNDEFEATED UNIVERSITY TEAM MEETS PRINCETON SEVEN AT ARENA TONIGHT

The Crimson hockey seven will clash with the traditional rivals from Princeton on the Arena ice at 8.15 o'clock tonight. A clean slate to date will make Captain Bigelow's men favored to win, though the Tiger skaters, by decisive victories in the past two weeks over Yale, 4-2, and Penn, 6-1, have uncovered a speedy offensive.

The University will manager tonight without the services of Buntin, the shifty left center who has been responsible for a large share of the successful passing and scoring during the early season. Buntin is suffering from an attack of jaundice, and is not expected back in the line-up until the Yale contest at Philadelphia next week Saturday. Snelling will be Coach Claflin's choice to replace the former Newton player.

Defeated by Fordham

Defeated 2-1 by the Fordham sextet at New York city on January 9 and losing to the Quaker City outfit 7-2 two days later, the Orange and Black machine found its stride against Penn, the entire forward line scoring in the course of a one-sided battle. Meeting Yale last week the Tigers led throughout till Carson tied the score in the final period, making overtime necessary. Knox for the Nassau line bounced the puck into the Elicage a moment or two after the extrasession face-off, following it up two minutes later with another goal from a spectacular dash down the rink.

Keyes and Knox will be the forward pair to be watched in this evening's game, the former having three tallies to his credit on the season's record and the latter four. Brown, the probable addition to the regular six-man Princeton line-up, has been ranked as a first string substitute, alternating regularly with Ehret at the left wing position.

In Haight the New Jersey septet possesses a strong defensive worker, who has shown consistent scoring ability and unusual speed. Captain Maxwell, goal-

tend for the visitors, is likely to have an opportunity to show his wares on the Arena surface tonight, provided the Crimson line work is up to scratch.

This will be the first time that Princeton has played the seven-man style of game, and some objection was raised at first to the arrangement. The Tigers have suffered from lack of cold weather for outdoor practice at Princeton, and have been forced to do most of their drilling at the Philadelphia ice-palace. Despite the fact that no coach has yet been permanently signed on for the team, under Captain Maxwell the Nassau skaters have developed team-work required to make a creditable showing the past two weeks
