The fastest ice so far this season on the Charlesbank rinks gave the Freshman hockey squad opportunity yesterday for a rugged drilling. Under the direction of Coach L. M. Lombard '17, squad "A" was run through a long shooting and passing practice, following which a rapid-fire scrimmage was staged between teams "A" and "B". Special attention is being centered on defense work and goal-tending as weak points in the 1924 play.
Browne and Nichols School will face the yearling seven tomorrow afternoon in a practice game, instead of the Tufts Freshman as had previously been planned. The next regular contest on the 1924 schedule is that against Andover on the Charlesbank rinks Saturday afternoon.
