In the first scheduled game of the season, the Freshman basketball five will meet Worcester North High School at 3.30 this afternoon in the Freshman Gymnasium. The '24 men who have been practicing under Coaches Wachter and Miller since the end of November, present a strong team, although the loss of P. Jenkins, who is out with a bad knee, will be felt. It is hoped, however, that he will be able to play against Dartmouth next Tuesday. Little is known of the strength of the Worcester team except that they beat the Worcester Tech second team a few weeks ago.
The Freshman line-up includes acting Captain L. Gordon, who has up to the present time shown stellar form at forward; D. H. Stevens, the other forward, and J. H. Sipp at center, make Gordon a fast scoring combination, while J. L. Rudolfsky and J. Black form a standing defense. The line-up: L. Gordon, r.f.; D. H. Stevens, l.f.; J. H. Sipp, c.; O. Black, r.g.; J. L. Rudolfsky, l.g.
