William Allen White will speak in the Living Room of the Union Monday evening at 8 o'clock under the auspices of the Union and the Student Liberal Club, it was announced yesterday. The subject of Mr. White's talk is not known. A dinner in honor of Mr. White will be given by the Student Liberal Club at the Union preceding the lecture.
Mr. White is the author of several books, among which are "In the Heart of a Fool," "A Certain Rich Man," and "The Martial Adventures of Henry and Me." He was a reporter at the Paris Peace Conference, and was appointed by the President American delegate to the Allied conference at Prinkipo with the Bolsheyist government, which was abandoned.
Mr. White is now in Oyster Bay attending a memorial meeting of a few of the intimate friends of the late Theodore Roosevelt, known as the "Roosevelt Pilgrimage." Mr. White was prominent in the Progressive movement in 1912. He spoke at the Union several years ago.
